Fuelling the future responsibly: Our sustainability in motion
At Custom Fleet, we’re proud to be part of the Element Fleet Management family — an organisation driven by purpose, innovation, and responsibility.

The recent release of the 2025 Sustainability Report captures our collective global progress and reaffirms our commitment to forward-thinking practices that build resilience, spark innovation, and create long-term value for everyone we serve.
In line with our mission to move the world through intelligent mobility, this report highlights the strides we’ve made across key pillars of sustainability—from climate action to fostering inclusive workplaces.
"Sustainability is core to how we operate," said Claire M. Murphy, EVP Chief Legal and Sustainability Officer at Element. "We're proud of the progress we’ve made in strengthening governance practices and delivering positive environmental and social outcomes, while also supporting clients in achieving their own sustainability goals."
2025 Report highlights
- Climate ambition and action
In 2024, we reached a major milestone with the validation of our near-term science-based targets by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), aligning our decarbonisation strategies with globally recognised standards. We also exceeded our global Scope 1 and 2 emissions reduction targets ahead of schedule, ahead of schedule. Thanks in part to a fully electric fleet and optimised office locations in Australia and New Zealand, locally, we were able to contribute a 74% reduction to that total.
Our efforts to reduce Scope 3 emissions — such as those from leased assets and vehicle usage — are also gaining momentum, with targeted initiatives focused on the most material areas of our value chain.
- Governance and transparency
We maintained a CDP Climate score of B for the second consecutive year, reflecting our consistent performance globally in climate disclosure and risk management. By aligning with leading sustainability reporting frameworks, we’re preparing for future regulatory requirements and strengthening transparency in our stakeholder communications — including compliance with Australia’s new climate-related financial disclosure standards.
- Inclusion and belonging
Through Business Resource Groups and enterprise-wide engagement, we’re nurturing a culture where everyone feels included and empowered. These efforts reflect our deep commitment to fostering diversity and building a strong sense of belonging across our teams.
"Sustainability isn’t a standalone initiative — it’s something we embed into our strategy and champion through close collaboration with our clients," said Sheri McGrath, Vice President, Sustainability. "This report reflects the impact of our efforts and our dedication to continuous improvement."
