Custom Fleet launches ‘Innovate’ Reconciliation Action Plan

Custom Fleet’s celebration of Harmony Week was made extra meaningful this week with the launch of our ‘Innovate’ Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) 2023- 2025.

Custom Fleet’s RAP Working Group is proud to collaborate with the Killara Foundation, who have helped guide our RAP development and will continue as mentors throughout our RAP journey.

At our launch event, Chris Tulloch, our CEO/Country Head ANZ, talked to how we are leading reconciliation in our industry and shared “It is truly humbling to lead a business where Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging is at the forefront of our EVP and employee experience”.

Chris also re-affirmed his commitments to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) and promised to continue the investment required to deliver our DEIB Strategy and continue learning how to be the best supporter and ally to everyone at Custom Fleet.

The Custom Fleet crew were also privileged to hear Killara Foundation CEO, Kyle Vander Kuyp, speak about the meaning and importance of reconciliation. Kyle reflected on the deep relationship Custom Fleet and Killara have built over the past 3 year of running our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander job program and is excited to broaden and enhance our partnership through the delivery of Custom Fleet’s Innovate RAP.

Shaun Cameron, Director Talent & Culture and DEIB Leader presented our vision for DEIB and shared the amazing progress we have made to advance DEIB at Custom Fleet in line with our industry leading DEIB Strategy, of which the launch of our RAP is a key deliverable.

Our RAP document proudly features the artwork ‘Travelling Many Ways’ by Custom Fleet employee and emerging artist Tyrhys Wilson. Tyrhys gifted the painting to Custom Fleet as part of our recognition of National Reconciliation Week in 2022. Tyrhys’ painting is an interpretation of the Custom Fleet logo with many roads leading towards us, and towards the future. Tyrhys says the painting reflects the opportunities Custom Fleet has given him, and where he sees his future.

Please take the time to read Custom Fleet’s RAP, and find out more about what we are doing to advance Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging.
